Hey and welcome back!
finally, FINALLY! I have got the Questor Soulsworn magnetized, based and painted. This has been such a long project, staring mockingly at me half done on the table, and it is finally over.
Why has it taken such time you might ask?
I HATE painting stormcast it seems. Something about the armour is just so off putting to paint, It seems more like a chore than anything else. I didn’t have the same problem with the thunder strikes I painted (https://wordpress.com/post/goodenoughhobbies.com/944) as I had such an interesting paint scheme that I didn’t feel the chore-iness of them as much as these Questors.
Painted to match somewhat the box art, I think It might be the problem with them. The paint scheme was so boring! Also Magnets!
Don’t get me wrong here, the sculpts are in line with everything else Games Workshop put out. That means they are excellent.
The kit comes with a plethora of weapon options, as I have the possibility to field 6 models, with 7 different weapon options. Only one negative aspect of the weapon options is the lack of spears. The box only comes with one spear, with I would say is the most versatile chaff weapon of the box.
Hopefully I get to test them in a game soon. I just seem to have a great big pile of Warcry warbands to test nowadays..
