Life’s been busy. The new CFO for our old company got canned, so I had to step up again to fill the post. Impressive how much a person can screw up in 6 months.
anyway, onward.
This time I have some fun stuff for you, wookies painted using Army painter Speedpaints! (and some GW contrast)
First of the Battle Shield Wookie! That fire giant orange sure is vibrant! So vibrant that the gold details are unnoticeable.. (is it me or does the carbines remind you of the covenant carbines from Halo..?)
Next up The bowcaster and long gun. I have been skeptic about Army painter gravelord grey, as I find it a bit .. meh! But now I have found a use for it, Grey fur is awesome with it!
Here I went a bit nuts, and felt the need to make the wookies my own. So these are have arm-swaps to make them unique! Ryyk blades and pistols for everyone!
Here we also see the difference of GW snakebite leather and AP Hardened Leather. The Hardened leather is much more orange-y compered to Snakebite, as SL is more of a yellow-brown tone. Fun to mix them in a unit, as I feel Wookies should have a lot of different tones!
Also Firegiant orange with silver trim is frigging beautiful in my opinion!
